GLOUCESTER -- Seven people are in custody for the alleged sale of synthetic drugs, such as spice and bath salts, after authorities raided two tobacco businesses and a home in Gloucester Thursday morning.  

The Sheriff's Office says deputies raided Lutie’s Lair Martial Arts and High Tyde Trading and Tobacco in the 2000 block of George Washington Memorial Highway, as well as a residence in the 6700 block of Honeycutt Lane.

Nearly 75 officers from various agencies participated in the searches.

A State Police mobile command unit was set up down Honeycutt Lane in Roaring Springs Estates. A tow truck driver told 13News Now a car he removed from the properrty around 1:30 p.m. was part of the raid.

The following were arrested:

Lutgarda “Lutie” Mueller, 61, 6700 block of Honeycutt Lane in Gloucester is charged with
conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute analogues of a controlled substance, distribution of drug paraphernalia, maintain a drug involved premises and conspiracy to launder money.

Brian Street, 39, 3400 block of Cappahosic Road in Gloucester is charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute analogues of a controlled substance,
distribution of drug paraphernalia and maintain a drug involved premises.

James “Randy” Belvin, 37, 2600 block of Woodford Avenue in Hayes is charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute analogues of a controlled substance and
distribution of drug paraphernalia.

Thomas “Cory” Rainer, 24, 6400 block of Glenside Court in Gloucester is charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute analogues of a controlled substance and distribution of drug paraphernalia

Martice “Marty” Wise III, 20, 6100 block of Virginia Drive in Gloucester is charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute analogues of a controlled substance and distribution of drug paraphernalia.

Ashley Summerfield, 23, 6000 block of Coke Lane in Hayes is charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute analogues of a controlled substance and distribution of drug paraphernalia.

Joshua Burleson, 19, of the 7400 block of Camp Okee Drive in Gloucester Point is charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute analogues of a controlled substance and distribution of drug paraphernalia.
