CHESAPEAKE-- It’s a fact that Americans consume more food on Super Bowl Sunday than any other day, except Thanksgiving.
Chicken wings are a favorite, with estimates that people will consume 1.2 billion wings at game night parties.
“In about a four-hour span, we’ll do 8,000 wings. In a regular month, that would be 10 percent of our total sales for the entire month,” Bo Burgis explained.
At Wild Wings Café, the kitchen is stocked and loaded. Chefs are whipping up 34 varieties of sauces to wet your Super Bowl whistle. “This is our bubba’s barbeque, which is all made in house with fresh ingredients. It’s a sweet, southern style barbeque ketchup base.”
