VIRGINIA BEACH -- This winter’s frigid temperatures, winter storms, and snow and ice removal, combined with recent warmer temperatures, have produced the right combination for the onset of potholes.

I was working with Virginia Beach crews repairing potholes.  They are working ten-hour days just to keep up.

Our crew was on pothole repair in the Indian Lakes section of the city.  We were working on a calm road.  Workers said making repairs on busy roadways like Northampton Drive or Shore Drive can be scary sometimes.
