What is it? An automatic hands-free soap and sanitizer dispenser.

What does it claim? To be a touch-free, no mess dispenser you can place anywhere.

Who tested it? Virginia Beach resident Kelsey Clayton.

What Are The Instructions?  Before you install the 4 "AAA" batteries make sure that the switch on the bottom of the unit is in the "OFF" position.  Now you're ready to install the batteries as indicated on the inside of the battery compartment and replaced the cover. The next step is to insert the drip tray.  Just align the male connectors on the bottom of the drip tray with the female connectors on the base of Soap Magic Ultra.  Then gently press the drip tray down to secure.  The tray can also be removed for cleaning.

Next thing to do is fill the dispensing tank.  Before you add soap or sanitizer gel to the tank make sure that the switch on the bottom of the unit is in the "OFF" position.  You can access the tank by pressing your thumb against the indent in the tank cover and then lift off the cover.  Then fill the tank with soap or sanitizer gel through the fill hole at the top. It's important to note for optimum performance, do not fill past the MAX fill line or allow liquid to fall below the MIN fill line.  Once you replace the tank cover you're ready to set up your Soap Magic Ultra for dispensing.

You'll find the automatic dispensing switch at the bottom of your Soap Magic Ultra.  Just turn the switch to the "ON" position.  If you also want your Soap Magic Ultra to chime when it dispenses, then you need to turn your switch to the "CHIME" position.

Now just place your hand under the dispensing nozzle.    The built in infrared sensor will detect your hand, and the unit will automatically dispense a fixed amount of liquid.  If you want less liquid just take your hand out from under the infrared sensor when you have enough then the Soap Magic Ultra will stop dispensing.

Did it work? Our tester, who enjoys cooking, says she really likes that Soap Magic Ultra gives her a hands-free way to sanitize her hands quickly.  She says that's especially important when she's working with raw meat or eggs.  She agrees with the makers of Soap Magic Ultra it really can be used in just about every room.  She had only positive things to say about Soap Magic Ultra.

Cost/Availability? We purchased Soap Magic Ultra at CVS/pharmacy for $19.99.
