Does It Work: Ped Egg

VIRGINIA BEACH – Angela Perron says being a solder is rough on her feet.
"Being in boots all day really messes up your feet," she explains. “They get hot and sweaty and stinky, but those are my most comfortable boots. I refuse to break in another pair."
She says she pampers herself each month with a pedicure.
This month, she agreed to stay home and do it herself with Ped Egg. The maker promises it’s easy and doesn’t make a mess because skin shavings are collected in the egg’s storage compartment.
Perron reads the instructions, which tell her to use Ped Egg only on clean, dry and moisture-free skin.
She snapped the Ped Egg into place and got to work, focusing on the rough spots on her heels.
After several scrapes with Ped Egg, she ran her hand over her skin.
"It feels a little softer," she notes.
Perron then checked the shavings storage compartment and indeed the dead, dry skin was held inside and didn’t end up on the floor.
After trying Ped Egg, Perron says it works.
“Yes, I think so. My feet are softer."
Ped Egg costs $9.99.
