CHESAPEAKE -- One of the homes under construction for the upcoming Spring Homearama is 100% Made in America.

The annual showcase of new homes with the latest in appliances and furnishings is June 16-July in the Culpepper Landing community in Deep Creek. This is the 30th year for The Tidewater Builders Assn. Homearama in South Hampton Roads.

Builder T.E. Jones of Vintage Homes says everything from the nails in the walls to the shingles on the roof to the materials on the floors are manufactured in the U.S.

It's believed to be only the second all-American home in the country and the first in the Eastern United States, as well as the first one to be featured in Homearama.

The Homearama homes range from 2,250 square feet to more than 3,500 square feet and are priced from the mid-$300s to the high $400s.

The Fall Homearama is October 13-28 at East Beach in Norfolk.
