VIRGINIA BEACH - Gas prices have skyrocketted 20 cents a gallon in the last two weeks and some folks in Virginia Beach want to help out with the burden at the pumps. Members of the Clearview Church in Virginia Beach will be out at the 7-11 at 2093 Lynnhaven Parkway on Saturday and will be paying 20 cents per gallon to customers who will be getting gas between 10 a.m. and noon.

This is part of the church's Project Hope program, which does acts of kindness in the community. 13News Chaser Jason Walsh was live with members of the congregation on Wednesday morning to preview Saturday's event.
