What is it? a container you can make your pancakes in and then add special tips to create all sorts of fun food

What does it claim? to be the easy and fun way to create pancakes

Who tested it?  Norfolk resident Chandy Jones

What Are The Instructions? Before you even get started, wash all the components throughly with warm soapy water.  Then be sure that everything is attached tightly before making your fun creations!  To make detailed outlines, snap-on the narrow detail tip.  If you are filling in shapes, remove the detail tip and use the wider tip underneath.

If the tip clogs while you're using it, poke it with a toothpick or skewer to release clumps.  For easy cleaning,  rinse the Pancake Creator after using it and place it in the top rack of your dishwasher.

Now to mix batter in your Pancake Creator,  add the unpacked dry mix of your choice to the base.  Embossed markings will accurately measure one or two cups of dry mix for you.  Then attach the upper half before adding wet ingredients and egg (if required).  You can use the volume markings on the cap of your Pancake Creator for convenient measuring of wet ingredients. Screw on the top and cover the tip with your finger to mix the ingredients.  Then shake for a minimum of 60 seconds. Carefully remove your finger from the tip because contents may be under pressure after shaking.  Once you're done shaking, use a whisk if necessary to smooth out any unmixed areas and create a consistent batter.  Now your ready to start creating. Remember if you want to make numbers or letters, you need to draw them in a mirror image or else they will look backwards when you flip them over.

Did it work? Jones says yes it did.  She normally just makes regular pancakes, but with the Pancake Creator, she was able to test her artistic ability.  She says it really does help make a pancake breakfast even more fun.  She said it was pretty easy to use - just make sure your pancakes aren't too runny.

Cost/Availability? You can purchase the Pancake Creator at Walmart for $4.97.
