Beware of hidden fees the next time you stay at a hotel. Just like airlines and car rental companies, some hotels are now adding surcharges to customers' bills. The industry is collecting more than $2 billion a year from surcharges on things like automatic gratuities for bellhops and a re-stocking fee for the mini-bar. The bottom line is you need to make sure you read the fine print before booking a room.
Now if you are flying, here's something you might need to watch out for -- the "knee defender." The $22 gadget prevents the person in from of you from reclining. This little device led to a fight between passengers last weekend that ended with an unscheduled landing to kick them off.
