One airline is set to start charge some youngsters flying alone. American Airlines says it will charge a $150 fee each way for 12-14 year olds going solo beginning September 3rd. Right now, the airline charges for unaccompanied minors between 5 and 11. American says it's expanding the fee to ensure safer travel for children. It also now matches the policy at US Airways. The two airlines merged in December 2013 to form American Airlines group. As far as other airlines go, United charges $150 and Southwest $50 each way for children 5 to 11. Delta and Jet Blue both charge $100 each way for children up to the age of 14.
When it comes to airline food, United is planning to upgrade its food and beverage choices. Those changes will include new salads and sandwiches as well as sparkling wine. But here's the catch. Those new changes are only for passengers in first and business class.

The 5S has been reduced from $99 to $79 and the 5C has been reduced from $29 to just 97 cents. Both phones are available with a two-year contract from several wireless carriers.
