A major retailer is opening extra early to cash in on Thanksgiving Day shoppers.  Kmart announced it is opening at 6:00 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day! Get this - it will remain open until 11 :00 p.m. on Black Friday. That's 41 hours of shopping.  Sears, Kmart's sister chain, isn't going to open until 8:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving day but will remain open until 10:00 p.m. on Black Friday.

If you are planning to travel this holiday season, here's some news that may make you happy. You can now use your electronic device from gate to gate.  American Airlines is joining Delta and JetBlue in allowing passengers to use their electronic gadgets from take off until landing as long as it's in "ariplane mode."

If you think you've got it rough at your job, wait until you hear what Google employees are complaining about on message boards.  It seems some employees find those massage chairs in the "nap room" are just too loud.  Other employees say they are putting on weight and they are placing the blame squarely on the free gourmet food they get at work.  We should all have such problems, right? Check out the link above to other Google employee benefits.
