If you've been to the gas pump recently, you may have noticed a gallon of regular is down below $3. That's the case for about 70% of the country, Although, the national average right now is still $3.24 a gallon for regular.   Prices have not been this low since 2010.  Analysts say there are several factors contributing to the lower prices, including a reduction in tensions in the Middle East, swelling supplies of domestic oil and a decreased demand.  Prices are expected to continue to drop through the end of the year.  That's good news for many people as we head into the holiday travel season.

The latest retailer to announce an even earlier start to the Black Friday weekend sales is Walmart.  The world's largest retailer is going to get the sales started on Thanksgiving night.  Walmart will hold two major sales events at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving, but it also is planning to have some deals that will only be available on Black Friday.

You may notice more people than usual getting married on this Tuesday and it's all because of the date.  Today is 11-12-13!  The sequential date reportedly has plenty of couples planning to head to the chapel. Estimates are that 3,300 couples will get married today.  That's nearly eight times more than the same date last year.  In case you're wondering: there is only one more sequential date left this century and it's next year on December 13, 2014.
