As a busy mother of two Tysha Edwards is always looking for ways to save time. That's why the Turbo Cooker was so appealing to her.
It claims you can cook an entire meal in one pan in a matter of minutes.
So, Edwards put it to the test, making chili and cornbread.
She browned the ground beef, then drained off the fat and added the chili ingredients.
"I'm not going to make it too spicy because my two-year-old son doesn't like too much spice."
The instructions called for her to put the Turbo Cooker lid on and close the valve for ten minutes. While that was cooking, she prepared the cornbread and set it in the steamer rack.
Then she put the cornbread right in Turbo Cooker with the chili. She noted that the valve should stay open.
Just ten minutes later, she checked the cornbread with the toothpick test. "Oh my gosh, Wow, it's great."
Everything was done in only 20 minutes. "I usually put it all day in the crock pot. I'd say at least three to four hours."
It saved time, but how does everything taste?
"That's good. I'd say it's pretty darn close, if not better, than hours in the crockpot."
Edwards said Turbo Cooker really works. "Without a doubt. I'm amazed."
If you want a Turbo Cooker, it costs $39.99 in local stores.
