ISLE OF WIGHT CO. -- Youngsters put a special touch on the Charity House that will be sold in the first annual Spring Homearama 2010.

Several kids from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia spent part of the day painting a mural in the home at Founders Pointe.

The home is a 3,300-square foot transitional style home with a first-floor master suite, a two-car garage and a view of the marsh on Batten Bay.  The location was the inspiration for the mural of a heron in the marsh surrounded by water, grass and flowers.

The home was built by Eric Sasser of Simply Custom by Sasser Construction.  Proceeds from the home's sale will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs.

The Tidewater Builders Association showcases the latest in home building and decor in its annual fall Homearama event.

This is the first spring Homearama by the TBA.  It's being held at Founders Pointe in Isle of Wight County from May 8-24. If you're interested in seeing the homes in progress, there's an open house on March 27 and 28.
