NORFOLK (AP) -- Norfolk has a new economic development director.
Steven Anderson first day is scheduled for Tuesday.
He was tapped for the post by City Manager Marcus Jones.
Anderson previously served as the director of economic and community development for St. Mary's County Maryland. Prior to that position, Steven worked for the Anderson Group providing consulting services to municipalities and companies.
He also served as the vice president of business development for St. Louis County, Missouri.
Anderson has a law degree from Whittier College School of Law and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Missouri.
