DOSWELL (AP) -- A sure sign of summer: Kings Dominion is hiring by the hundreds.
The amusement park near Richmond is in a "hiring blitz," looking for about 400 seasonal employees ahead of the park's opening on May 24. The hiring is expected to continue right up to Memorial Day weekend.
Kings Dominion is looking for workers for concessions, rides and games, the water park, admissions and security. The jobs range from entry-level to supervisory positions. The 400 are only one-tenth of the hires the amusement park will make through the 2013 season.
Applicants must be at least 15. They can apply on the Kings Dominion Website.
