VIRGINIA BEACH--The endorsements have already started for Va. Beach gold medalist Gabby Douglas.
Kellogg Company on Friday released an image of the special edition Corn Flakes box that features the 16-year-old on the podium with her gold medal. The box will be out this fall.
"I'm so proud to be part of this gold-medal winning team and I'm thrilled I was able to bring home the all-around gold for Team USA as well," Douglas said in a press release. "The support from fans around the country has been amazing, and it's a huge honor to see ourselves on a cereal box that our fans can all own and enjoy!"
She, along with Jordyn Wieber and Aly Raisman will take part in the 40-city Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics beginning September 8.
"As of right now, there are no changes to the tour, however given the amount of success Gabby has had, they might consider adding a stop in Virginia," Miles Ritenour with Ketchum Sports & Entertainment told WVEC.com.
The closest the tour will come to Hampton Roads is Washington, D.C. on November 15. There will be a stop in Charlotte, NC on October 26.
Kellogg Company is an official sponsor of the United States Olympic Committee and USA Gymnastics.
