Group plans to redevelop Williamsburg Outlet Mall

VIRGINIA BEACH -- Armada Hoffler Properties, Inc. announced Thursday that it will redevelop the Williamsburg Outlet Mall, which closed last year, into an 88,0000-square-foot shopping center, anchored by Harris Teeter. 

Amanda Hoffler is a real estate company based in Virginia Beach.

The company signed a 20-year lease for approximately 53,000 square feet with Harris Teeter, which will anchor an additional 35,000 square feet of shops and restaurants. 

According to a news release, construction is expected to to begin later this year and is expected to be complete by 2016.
