Chesapeake Square Mall
CHESAPEAKE – Burlington Coat Factory will need to fill 75 or so jobs at its new store at Chesapeake Square Mall.
The company announced Monday that it will move into the former Dillard's space at the Chesapeake shopping center.
The job application process for sales and management positions will likely take place in August, said spokeswoman Courtney Ryder.
The 81,721 square foot store will have a home decor and baby depot department.
The store is set to open in September.
Burlington Coat Factory President and CEO Thomas Kingsbury stated, "We are thrilled to bring Chesapeake new jobs with the opening of the new store."
It's the first Burlington in Chesapeake and the fifteenth in Virginia.
