Lindsey Roberts joined 13NEWS in June of 2005 as a reporter. This is the west coast native's first time living on the "other coast," but Lindsey says she already loves the area.

Before joining WVEC, Lindsey worked as a general assignment reporter in Kennewick, Washington and Boise, Idaho. While in Boise, Lindsey took several trips with the governor in 2004, covering the military and the state's largest deployment of troops in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Lindsey is a native of Idaho and a graduate of the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications. Coming from a rodeo family, Lindsey grew up riding horses and competing in rodeos throughout the northwest. It's a hobby she misses now living in "the big city."

In her spare time, Lindsey loves to travel, is trying to become a better cook, and looks forward to meeting more people from Hampton Roads.
