Janet came back to Hampton Roads after leaving in the mid-90's to work at TV stations in Milwaukee, Washington, DC and Baltimore. She can be seen with LaSalle Blanks on 13News @ Noon and with David Alan on 13News @ 5:30.
Janet was born in Washington, DC and grew in High Point, N.C., the furniture capital of the world. She fell in love with Hampton Roads years ago when she came here as a young general assignment reporter. While here before, she covered a wide range of subjects from hurricanes to politics. Over the years, Janet has worked in various markets as an anchor and reporter. She has won more than 10 local, state and national awards including an Emmy for a documentary on domestic violence.
Ask Janet what she likes most about Hampton Roads and she'll tell you the friendly people, great places to eat and the beautiful scenery.
She lives on the Peninsula with her husband Harold, two children, and Jack Russell Terrier, Wishbone.
