JAMES CITY COUNTY-- A James City County woman has been arrested for an arson fire she allegedly set in her own bedroom on Nov 29.
According to police, 38-year-old Encela Pardo confessed to fire marshals that she started a fire in her home on 9180 Richmond Rd. and then left.
Pardo returned to the residence after the fire was put out.
One firefighter sustained a minor foot injury but has returned to work.
Pardo is being held without bond at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail.
