VIRGINIA BEACH-- Police are looking for a smash-and-grab serial burglar who has robbed 11 businesses in Virginia Beach.
Police say the suspect has stolen cash, cash registers, laptops, and big screen televisions since Jan. 13 in Virginia Beach, and there have been several similar incidents in Chesapeake.
According to police, the suspect uses a stone or rock to break out the glass of the front door to gain entry.
The suspect is described as a 30 to 40-year-old white male with short or balding hair, five feet six to five feet eight inches tall, and between 180 and 230 pounds.
In many cases the suspect wore the same clothing, a dark green coat, gray hoodie, beige cargo pants, tan boots and black gloves.
The suspect's vehicle has not been seen in any of the burglaries.
