YORK COUNTY-- A tow truck driver was assaulted after stopping to help two men in a broken down car early Saturday morning.
Virginia State Police said that the tow truck driver, 32-year-old Delbert Lee Prince, stopped on I-64 in York County to help two men in a broken down black Honda Accord with New York license plates when he was attacked.
An official tells WVEC.com that Prince, a driver for David's Towing was held at gun point, and the two men got away with $40.00.
The suspects were last seen heading westbound on I-64.
This incident is being investigated by the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
