NORFOLK-- Two people have been arrested in connection with an arson at Thrift Store City in Norfolk Monday.

Police say William Charles Swingle and Jessa Skye Potter, both of Virginia Beach, were arrested late Tuesday.

Fire investigators released several surveillance pictures Monday night in connection with the arson of several tractor trailers.

Firefighters were called about smoke and flames coming from the back parking lot of Thrift Store City on E. Little Creek Road around 4:45 a.m. Monday.

Capt. Mike Hicks says the trailers were used to store clothing and other donated items like furniture.

There was no damage to the building and no one was hurt, Hicks noted.

Store officials say their only forklift was damaged in the fire, so they expect clean-up to take a bit longer than usual.
