KABUL, AFGHANISTAN -- U.S. Troops celebrated Thanksgiving Thursday with traditional roasted turkey.
Soldiers lined up on-base in the Afghan capital to enjoy the feast.
After eating, they found the energy for a game of rugby.
"This is the first Thanksgiving game that we've done, so we're really excited about it. We've got a lot of participation from folks who normally don't play so, yeah, it's a great time," said Captain Robert Mikyska.
68,000 American troops spent Thanksgiving in Afghanistan this year.
