ACCOMACK COUNTY -- Virginia State Police are investigating a Saturday night trailer fire that happened just before 10 p.m.

The State Bureau of Criminal Investigation received a call around 9:47 about an unoccupied trailer being on fire.

Crews located the trailer in the 22500 block of New Branch Road. No one was injured during the fire.

The cause is unknown, but the incident is under criminal investigation.

Earlier in the day, another structure burned to the ground on Bayside Road in Onancock. That fire is being investigated as arson.

There have been over 50 cases of arson across the county since late last year.

Police are offering a $25,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction of those responsible.
