NORFOLK, VA -- Norfolk Police responded to a stabbing incident on 9th View St. in Ocean View. This happened at around 8:45 Sunday morning.
The victim, identified as 50 year-old Marvin Gregory Thornsbury of the 9600 block of 9th View St., was transported to the hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
Police have a suspect in custody. he is identified as Gerald Donald Brockett, 60 years-old, also of the 9600 block of 9th View St.. He's been charged with murder.
