Man shot in the head in Suffolk

SUFFOLK -- A man is recovering after being shot in the head Wednesday night.
The shooting occurred around 9:00 p.m. in the 5600 block of Plummer Blvd. off Interstate 664.
John Craig, 26,was able to drive to his girlfriend's home on Maplewood Rd. to get help. He struck a tree during the drive, according to city spokeswoman Debbie George.
Craig is in fair condition at the hospital.
The investigation continues.
