VIRGINIA BEACH -- Monday is the sentencing day for Cameron Crockett, who was convicted of involuntary manslaugher earlier this year.

The charge stems from a car accident that killed his friend, Jack Korte, back in 2008.

In a jailhouse interview, Crockett told 13 News that he is innocent.

Crockett was supposed to be sentenced back in march, but he disappeared after his conviction.

U.S. Marshals caught him in Belize a few months later.
