NEWPORT NEWS— A man is killed and police are now questioning his family member in the shooting.
Around 8:16 p.m. Sunday, someone called 911 about shots fired inside a home in the 100 block of Lochview Dr.
When officers arrived, they found a 24-year-old Newport News man suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
A 39-year-old Newport News female relative of the victim is being questioned at police headquarters.
