UPDATE 6/20: Ulysses Lee Keeling was found guilty Friday of first degree murder, robbery and use of a firearm. The jury recommended a sentence of 40 years. Circuit Court Judge H. Thomas Padrick, who presided over the three-day trial, will formally sentence Keeling on October 1, 2014.

VIRGINIA BEACH - Va. Beach Police say they've made an arrest in murder that happened right after Christmas.

31-year-old Rafael Obes Hernandez was shot at O'Hare and Dahlia on the night of December 27. He lived nearby.

The investigation led police to arrest Ulysses Lee Keeling of Portsmouth on Friday, February 1. The 36-year-old is charged with second degree murder and robbery.

Police did not release any information about how Keeling was identified as a supect.
