NEWPORT NEWS - A man with dementia who'd been missing from the assisted living facility where he lives has been found and he's fine.

Police say 54-year-old Marvin Lee Love was last seen by staff at Hilton Plaza Assisted Living Facility on Main Street around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, and when he wasn't there four hours later, they called police.

K-9 and officers searched the area with no luck, but he was found safe around 8:00 a.m. at 25th Street and Marshall Avenue - about five miles away, said spokeswoman Holly McPherson.

The person who spotted him had once been his caretaker, she added.
