NORFOLK – Weather and speed were factors in a crash that killed a Suffolk man, Va. State Police say.
Rodney Quintel Drayton, 45, was getting onto I-64 West at Tidewater Drive in Norfolk around 6:10 a.m. when he lost control, according to Sgt. Michelle Cotten.
He ran into a tractor trailer and was ejected.
Sgt. Cotten says Drayton wasn't wearing a seat belt.
The crash closed several lanes during the morning rush.
The on-ramp was reopened around 9:45 a.m.
