Very light and spotty areas of precipitation have overspread the area and with temperatures near freezing we are seeing some freezing drizzle, and in a few spots a very light flurry or a few sleet pellets. Another problem tonight will be the slush re-freezing in areas where there isn't any salt mixed in from some of the roads being treated.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for most of the ABC 13 viewing area in SE Virginia and NE North Carolina.
Tomorrow will be a bit less cold with highs near 40 but the clouds will stick around and there could again be a touch of drizzle at times.
An almost identical forecast is what we are calling for on Thursday with the only differences being a bit stronger of a NE wind and a high in the lower 40s instead of near 40.
