ACCOMACK COUNTY ---Four people were arrested Friday in connection with a meth lab investigation near Nelsonia.
On Friday, the Virginia State Police Clandestine Lab Team executed search warrants at two homes in the area of Gargatha Landing Road.
Virginia State Police have released investigation details on behalf of the Accomack County Sheriff's Department.
Units from the Bloxom Fire Department, Eastern Shore Haz-mat response team, and Virginia Department of Emergency Management Services took part in the investigation. The Accomack County Department of Social Services and the Worcester County Sheriff's Office Criminal Enforcement Team also assisted in the case.
William Allen Williams, Joanna Strickland, Victor Manuel Garced, and Christian Hope Hemphill were arrested and now face drug charges.
Williams and Strickland were charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and manufacturing meth with a child under the 15 present.
Garced and Hemphill were charged with conspiracy to distribute meth.
Hemphill was held on a $10,000 secured bond, but the remaining three suspects were denied bond.
After warrants were served one of the homes, in the 1700 block of Music Circle, was condemned by Accomack County Department of Building and Zoning.
