SOUTHAMPTON CO. - A Wakefield man is charged with child sex crimes.
30-year-old Chris Holt is accused of aggravated sexual battery on an 11-year-old girl in September 2007, Maj. Gene Drewery told WVEC.com.
The investigation began November 29 after the girl's parent came forward, he added.
The alleged assault occurred at a home in Ivor. Maj. Drewery states the two are not related.
Holt is being held in the Southampton County Jail with no bond.
