NORFOLK--Police made an arrest Monday night in a knife attack at MacArthur Mall.
26-year-old Leedente Brown, who lives in Portsmouth, was charged with malicious wounding.
Police say he and the victim had been arguing about a girl and that led to the attack on the second floor of the mall around 1:00 p.m.
The mall remained open while workers cleaned blood on the floor between Barnes and Noble and the elevator.
The victim was treated for a cut to his shoulder.
