NEWPORT NEWS -- The Jefferson Lab will test its tornado warning siren Friday morning.
Anyone living within a mile and a half of the lab may hear the sirens around 10:30 a.m.
The lab uses the sirens to quickly alert members of the lab community who are working outdoors to take cover.
