NORFOLK-- Hampton Roads Transit has joined forces with 93.7 BOB FM, WVEC 13, and both regional Foodbanks to bring to you the regions first ever Holiday Express train!
Take a ride on an old time locomotive and bring with you some non-perishable food items to help out those in need.
Volunteers from the Southeastern Virginia Foodbank will be standing by at EVMC, MacArthur, and Newtown Station beginning November 23rd to accept your donations.
On the Peninsula, a Holiday Express bus will be stationed at various locations spreading holiday cheer and accepting donations beginning November 19th.

Approximately 80% of those in need are children under the age of 18 years old!
For every $1 the Foodbank can provide 3-4 meals!
