Hampton Police arrest serial robbery suspect

UPDATE 10/11:  Police have arrested and charged 35-year-old Kassim Lewis Davis with four counts of robbery, burglary while armed, use of of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Davis is currently being held in the Hampton Sheriff's Office.

Police continue to search for a suspect who robbed the Miller Mart on Oct. 9.

HAMPTON -- Hampton Police need help identifying the man they say robbed five convenience stores in October.

Police say in each robbery the suspect implied he had a gun, demanded cash and then fled on foot.

  • 10/2/13    8:31 p.m.    7-Eleven    3800 Shell Road
  • 10/8/13    9:12 p.m.    7-Eleven    2605 Kecoughtan Road
  • 10/9/13    2:47 a.m.    7-Eleven    2605 Kecoughtan Road
  • 10/9/13    5:24 a.m.    7-Eleven    900 Aberdeen Road
  • 10/9/13    7:51 a.m.    Miller Mart    2003 West Pembroke Avenue

No one was injured during any of these incidents.
The suspect is described as a black male in his late twenties, approximately 5’6” to 5’7”, between 170 and 190 pounds, and has a close cut hair cut.

In several of the robberies the suspect was last seen wearing a dark-colored, zip-up jacket.
