EMPORIA- Greensville High School students have been re-routed to Greensville Elementary School this morning due to a bomb threat at the High School, 13News Now has confirmed. This comes less than a week after a threat was made on the school on Friday the 13th.

Assistant Principal Lameka Harrison told WRIC TV/Richmond that the school received a bomb threat Wednesday afternoon for Thursday morning. Harrison says parents were notified of the threat Wednesday night through an instant alert system.

Teachers have been instructed to report to Greensville Elementary School at 1011 Sussex Drive in Emporia on Thursday morning. High school students who ride the bus will be re-routed to Greensville Elementary.

Law enforcement officers and bomb dogs are currently investigating the threat.
