PETERSBURG (AP) -- Shoppers at Fort Lee's commissary no longer have to enter the store to get groceries.

The commissary at the Petersburg post is testing an online ordering program called Click2Go. Shoppers order items online and choose a designated pickup time.

Shoppers don't even have to get out of their vehicles. Commissary employees load the groceries into vehicles curbside.

Business analyst Tanya Cooksey with the Defense Commissary Agency tells the Richmond Times-Dispatch that the service is appealing to people who don't have time to come into the commissary.

Operations analyst Willie Watkins says the agency also plans to test the program at Travis Air Force Base in California and at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.
