WILLIAMSBURG-A skunk in a gated Williamsburg community has tested positive for rabies.

The Peninsula Health District says the animal was found in the area of Eaglescliffe Drive in Ford’s Colony.

Anyone in that community concerned their family or their pet had contact with it should call the Williamsburg Environmental Health Office at 603-4277 or after hours contact the James City County/Williamsburg Animal Control at 253-1800.
