Five arrested in Outer Banks drug investigations

DARE COUNTY, N.C. -- Five North Carolina residents face drug charges following investigations by various state and local law enforcement agencies.

Agencies involved include the Dare County Sheriff's Office, Nags Head Police Department, Kill Devil Hills Police Department, N.C. State Bureau of Investigation and the N.C. Alcohol Law Enforcement.

Those arrested include:

Abe Martin Thomas, 38, and Rachel Marie Taylor, 33, both of Treacher Lane in Frisco, charged with possession with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver schedule ll controlled substance (Oxymorphone).

In a separate case on Hatteras Island, police arrested Laurie Lynn Marshall, 37, of Piney Ridge Rd. in Frisco on June 12. She is charged with conspiring to sell or deliver cocaine and was released on $2,500 bond.

On June 13th Dare Sheriff’s Deputies served an outstanding arrest warrant on Cassandra Laquisha Armour, 31, of McMullen Rd. in Avon. She was charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver schedule ll controlled substance and released on $35,000 bond.

On June 21st, Dare and Kill Devil Hills units arrested Quaysean Marquis Beasley, 21, of Delaware Ave. in Elizabeth City on drug charges for possession with the intent to sell or deliver cocaine, possession of cocaine, vehicle maintenance, and dwelling or place to keep controlled substance. He was released on $25,000 bond.
