ACCOMACK COUNTY -- State police believe an early morning brush fire may be the latest in a string of arsons across the county.
According to a press release, a call about a brush fire came in at 12:42 a.m. on Saturday. Crews responded to Dennis Drive and County Road in Parksley.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but police are investigating the incident as a possible arson.
There are over 60 unsolved arson cases in the county. The first fire was set in November 2012.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police. There is a $25,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of those responsible.
