UPDATE 2/3:  Traffic is no longer being alternated.  One lane eastbound and westbound are now flowing, officials said.  Two lanes remain closed as the tractor trailer is towed from the scene and repairs continue to the power lines.

SUFFOLK-About three dozen people in Suffolk are without power after a tractor-trailer overturned Monday morning.

The rig went off Route 460 East (Pruden Blvd.) at Gardner Lane just before 9:00 a.m., flipped and hit a light pole.

Traffic is alternating between the east and westbound lanes and should stay that way until late morning.

The driver was taken to the hospital for treatment and should be fine, authorities state.
