NORFOLK—Cyber Monday is tomorrow and we have tips for you to get some deals.

"One of the things that I tell people is to watch Amazon because they are watching everybody else. If we see a deal go into Walmart.com, in ten minutes Amazon is going to be matching it.  They are babysitting the big ticket items to make sure they can be competitive with everybody else."

Laura Oliver appears on Savings Sunday on 13NEWS weekends. She has her own site. She says many retailers, like Kohl’s, K-Mart and Sears already had cyber specials running on Sunday.

Amazon.com, which started Cyber Monday deals at midnight, is offering as much as 60 percent off a Panasonic VIERA 55-inch TV that's usually over $1,000. Sears is offering $430 off a Maytag washer and dryer, each on sale for $399. And Kmart is taking 75 percent off all diamond earrings.

It’s estimated that 72 million shoppers will click away on cyber Monday. Oliver says one major perk is free shipping.

The research firm ComScore estimates that Americans will spend $1.5 billion today, up 20 percent from last year. ComScore says $13.7 billion has been spent online so far for the holiday season. That's 16 percent more than last year.

Shopper Matt Sexton, who plans to do it all online this season, says online product descriptions and reviews are better and it's getting much easier to return an online purchase to a brick-and-mortar store.
