NORFOLK -- The Coast Guard medevaced a 60-year-old man from a cruise ship off North Carolina on Sunday.
The man aboard the Carnival Miracle reportedly had a heart attack.
An MH-60 Jayhawk rescue helicopter crew from Air Station Elizabeth City was launched to get the man from the ship, which was about 43 miles east of Oregon Inlet.
The man was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment.
