CHESAPEAKE-- A Chesapeake police officer has been arrested and charged with two counts of embezzlement.
A four month investigation conducted by the Chesapeake Police Department has led to the arrest of 28-year-old Michael Mobley, of the 3400 block of Silina Street in Virginia Beach.
Mobley is currently employed as a Chesapeake police officer and has been employed with the city for about five years.
Mobley has been on administrative leave without pay since the investigation began.
